Another 'easy' repaint...

With the forthcoming arrival of my second child, I've been putting off the more involved scratchbuilding of the steel bodied brake van, working on my 009 kits for a few weeks.

However with the prospect of a running day tomorrow I felt the need to do some large scale modelling this morning.

I've made a start on the modern EJ&KLR coach based on the LGB Austrian bogie coach. This is another simple repaint, with custom transfers. I've stripped it down and rubbed down the body markings and applied some Halfords plastic primer, ready for it's top coats of Humbrol brown enamel. It will also be fitted with silver framed windows, rather than the yellow ones fitted, when re-assembled.
